This question will resolve according to the party that has the most seats in the US House of Representatives after the 2022 Midterm elections on 8th November 2022, not counting the Speaker of the House.

There are 538 seats and 1 Speaker, so the party which holds 269 or more non-Speaker seats will be considered to be in control for the sake of this question.

If, by the end of the Zeitgeist resolution period, the Financial Times has not reported enough information to make a judgement by the criteria above, this market resolves as “No result by end of resolution period”.
